The first thing we learned about was the fifty states. We had to study them, and eventually we had to fill a whole map of the states.

We then studied the oceans, and continents. In addition we learned that scientists believe that the continents we all one.

Another thing we learned was the regions of the US. The regions are Northeast, Southwest, West, Southeast, and Midwest.

One other thing we learned about is countries. Some that we learned about are Canada, and Mexico.

The last thing we learned about was the grand divisions. The three are East, West, and Middle.

We learned about slavery in the early 1800's. They had to every thing their masters wanted.

The southern states are the primary states that had slaves. The north states rarely had slaves.

Slaves were never treated with luxury, and only got things like clothes yearly.

Slaves were treated like property, and were sold at auctions.

People in the north mostly rejected slavery.

Eventually the states had a war over slavery. The north, and south disagreed on slavery.

There were two sides in the war, the Confederate, and the Union.

Abraham Lincoln was the president of the Union.

Jefferson Davis was the president of the Confederate states.

The northern states won the war, and the southern states agreed to ban slavery.

One of the last things we've learned about is WW2. Countries clashed, and many irrational things happened.

Women were enrolled in the work force since men were at war. Factories for things like fireworks were now making artillery.

America dropped nuclear bombs on Hiroshima, and Nagasaki in Japan.

We learned that Hitler was a dictator at the time, and led the holocaust against the Jewish.

The president at the time was Franklin Roosevelt, and he gave supplies to Great Britian during the war.
